A great feature of Katana is that you can customize the look of your cabinetry with the wood species, finish color and glaze package you choose most cabinet companies make that choice for you at this price point! To really make your kitchen unique, consider using a stain on the bulk of the cabinetry and accenting the design with a painted island, or using a light stain in one place and a darker color somewhere else.

Glazing
Glazing is a popular finish enhancement, especially for door styles with a lot of detail. Glaze material is flooded over the finished surface and then hand-wiped to create an aged look. The material will "hang up" in corners, detail areas, and wood species with an open grain, like Red Oak.
